INTRODUCTION

Please, review the previous lesson.

As you know, people grow from babies to toddlers, infants, children, teenagers, adolescents, adult become old or elderly people and die. Even sometimes, some children die. You will not die young in Jesus’ name.

But you are not supposed to be afraid of death, or of anybody who has died. This is because Jesus has power to wake up dead people and this shows that Jesus has power over death.

It is this power over death that will make us have a beautiful life with God after death.

Life after death is an indication that after death, there is resurrection and another life continues.

FIRST WEEK:
EVIDENCE OF RESURRECTION

One day, Lazarus fell sick, Mary and Martha sent a message to Jesus to come around and make their brother well.

But before Jesus got to Mary and Martha’s house, Lazarus had already died.

As Jesus was coming to Martha and Mary’s house, they and their friends went to meet with Jesus. When she saw Jesus, she burst into tears. She must have been very sad. This is what death causes – sorrow. Jesus loved Lazarus and his sisters so much, so he wept, meaning Jesus understands our pains and sorrow too.

Jesus was taken to where Lazarus’ body was laid. Jesus shouted “Lazarus come out” and immediately Lazarus who had been dead for four days come back to life.

Jesus also rose up Jairus’ daughter from the dead. These two acts of Jesus show that Jesus has power over death and because of this, we are assured that those who believe in Him will be resurrected on the last day.

LESSONS

1. Even when we are sad, the best person to still run to is Jesus Christ.

2. In moment of sorrow, we should remember that Jesus shares our sorrow.

3. Jesus has power over death. Therefore, we can be sure of resurrection when we die.

SECOND WEEK:
HEAVEN IS BEAUTIFUL

Jesus has conquered death on the cross and so all believers will resurrect on the last day and will live forever.

We are sure of this life after death, because Jesus said; I am going to prepare a place for you in heaven. This means that there is another house in heaven, where we shall live in; but not until we have resurrected.

Do not forget that all men will resurrect unto destruction and torment, which is in hell but those who have given their lives to Christ will resurrect to life. These are Christians who have walked with Christ on earth and served Him in holiness till death.

The life after death is in heaven. We shall live with the Lord God – the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Remember He is in heaven. Heaven is such a beautiful place. So bright, and lovely, in fact, words cannot express it enough.

It is filled with gold and brightness. The Bible says there is neither darkness nor sorrow there. Do you love to be there? I an sure you do.

But you will have to give your life to Jesus, walk in spirit; love and serve Him, because Jesus said He is the way, the truth and the life that lead to the Father. The Father lives in heaven and that is where we shall be spending our life after death. Give your life to Jesus today.

LESSONS

1. All men will resurrect some to life and other to destruction.

2. Heaven is a beautiful place to be, you should long to be there.

3. Jesus is the only way that takes you to heaven.
