2020 IS THE YEAR OF PERFECTION By PASTOR CHRIS

The year 2020 is a special year. Not because it is twenty twenty, no, not because we are starting a new decade. The year is special because of the plan that God has for us. God lives in eternity. We live in time and time is a segment of eternity.

Genesis 6:9 KJV:These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Genesis 17:KJV:And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

2020 IS THE YEAR OF PERFECTION!

Perfection is a word that terrifies a lot of people. We have been told all our lives that no one is perfect. They train us to accept our imperfections.

In the scriptures, God never said perfection is impossible. On the contrary, perfections is what God desires and demands. Perfection is at different levels.

Perfection means to be flawless, complete.

Look at the Scripture God told Abraham to walk before him and be perfect. He wants him to be flawless.

We produce perfect stuff, perfect devices, perfect machines. This should let you know that perfection is possible.

Here’s another thing. Job 1:1 KJV:There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

Look at verse 8 God is addressing the devil and he said 8 KJV:And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Let’s hear Jesus just incase you are thinking these are old testament. Matthew 5:48 KJV:Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Jesus said so, imagine a child when he is born, he can’t do anything for himself; but this baby is as perfect as anyone else.

Ecclesiastics 3:14

KJV:I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.

Whatsoever God made lasts forever.

I once prayed for some people and one of them was blind. After I prayed, I asked if any of them had been healed and non raised a hand. I when back to my seat and asked God what happened? God told me that the blind man was healed. I met him and he claimed he still can’t see and i told him that he was healed. We argued it for some time. Then I told him to stop saying he can’t see. I asked him to look a few times and he began to see. He left there healed. He could have left that meeting still blind.

God’s Word is truth. Truth is different from fact.

I am a perfect being from a perfect God.

FOUR (4) THINGS THAT ARE NECESSARY

1. ALIGNMENT

There is going to be an alignment. It’s a training. There will be an alignment of your will and purpose with God’s purpose and will.

2. COMPLETENESS.

It from the Greek Plerul. It means to be full. You will be full of God’s word. When this happens, you will be amazed at what will be produced.

I will be full of God’s Word in 2020. God’s Word will dwell in me richly.

3. EXCELLENCE.

This will bring you into that ultimate position. Excellence is not something you struggle for. It’s your nature. I have an excellent Spirit. Live your life every day and think just like this.

Ephesians 5:1KJV:Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children

4. TELESPHORI

Luke 8:14 KJV:And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

This means to come to fruition. It means to come to the state where it produces result. It’s like a pregnant woman who carries her baby to the time of birth.

There will be no aborting of your plans. You will produce result with your ideas. You will bring your babies to fruition.
