September 5, 2020 Spirit Meat Devotional :- WHEN GOD GIVES YOU A POST, DON’T COMPROMISE II – Daniel 1:1-8

You have no reason to compromise as a child of God. People that compromise in the place where they have been divinely selected do not qualify for further wealth in Zion, and it is such people that God withholds resources from.Consequently, they are left with what the world can offer, which is subject to demonic assault – that is why you see men rise and fall in the world. In the world, they rise to fall, but in the kingdom of God, we rise to rise. That is our portion because we will not compromise.
Daniel purposed in his heart that he was not going to defile himself with the king’s meal. What was he doing? He was qualifying himself for a higher wealth that only God can give. These are men that the wealth of the world meant nothing to them. The problem that God is having, which is the same problem I have with the people of God, is how worldly wealth still shakes brethren.
I will never respect anything that anybody has that it is not God that gave him. The problem I have with the people of God is how brethren run around and tremble because of wealth that is not from God. Those people will compromise when the right opportunity presents itself. They love money, irrespective of its source. This is why people who got money from illegal and corrupt means have become leaders right in the church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Even a so-called ‘pastor’ is carried away by the wealth that God has not given that some persons are parading. Once it is not Godly, do not envy it, no matter how gorgeous it looks!
PRAYER: Lord, I pray for the spirit and grace to go with what You are giving me. I will be Your man at every post I find myself in Jesus name. Amen!
