The message of God for everyone making use of today’s devotional study is loud and clear. God has decided to sound an alarm to those who are caught in the web of deep spiritual slumber.

Many years ago, a backslidden choirmaster of our church put a female member of the choir in the family way. The girl was a daughter of an Alhaji. Our church was a small one with a congregation of about 100 to 120 persons. That day, our pastor had started preaching when the Alhaji mocked aloud, “Born again, when my daughter was coming for your vigils, I warned her. Now, this is the result of the vigils.” The pastor was perturbed. None of us could raise his head because what he was saying was true. A choirmaster like that who embarrassed the house of God, has all along been gambling at the Cross, pretending to be coming to sing in the church.
This is also what some people who attend our services do. A few of them living outside Nigeria were fond of saying to their spinster-friend or relation, “If you need a good wife, the place to go to is Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries; but if you want a prostitute, you go to other churches.” This implies that many spinsters or wife-seekers come to the house of God, not to meet God but to keenly and carefully search for women; these are simply gamblers in the house of God.
Beloved, you should not fail to realise that immediately you decide to crucify the flesh on the Cross, satan will scream to you to feel sorry for the flesh. This is a satanic deception and a demonic sympathy. You must allow the Spirit to kill the flesh in your life. You should not feel sorry for the flesh at all. Unfortunately, not many that come to the Cross are actually living crucified lives. Instead of making restitutions, many are busy gambling at the foot of the Cross. God is calling you into separation. Will you accept His call? If you do, some decisions must be not to touch unclean things and also to make restitutions.

MORNING
- Father, I thank You for making me a star, in the name of Jesus.
- Father, let Your divine favour locate me and lift me out of obscurity, in the name of Jesus.
- Let every satanic embargo on my rising be broken, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
- Every satanic chain that is keeping me from shining, break by fire, in the name of Jesus.
- Every witchcraft hand placed on my star, wither, in the name of Jesus.
- My star, arise and begin to shine, in the name of Jesus.
- Let the resurrection power of our Lord Jesus Christ come upon my buried virtues, in the name of Jesus.
