MIRACLE IN YOUR MOUTH

Read: Romans 10:8-10

Romans 10:8-10  But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

MEMORISE:

Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you (Numbers 14:28)

EXPOSITION

God did not just tell Abraham that He will bless him but God made him realise that he is a blessing. What is the implication? Abraham is not just blessed but he is a blessing, that is, a source from where blessings flow. That is what you shall be. Likewise in the case of miracle, you are not just a miracle but source of miracle for yourself and your generation. Isaiah sees himself and his children as signs and wonders for Israel. How are you seeing yourself? Miracle is a supernatural act of God over the affairs of man to correct a wrong, or difficult situation in our lives and activities. God uses miracles to interfere in the affairs of man, like in the case of parting of the Red Sea, God’s intervention in the Lion’s den, healing of the sick, bringing the dead to life and lots more. God can do more this day through you. He wants to raise someone up from the sick bed, He wants to raise you up, so that you can speak to that penury and hopeless situation of failure, barrenness, death through your ministry. Will you allow Him?

God has deposited in the believer’s mouth the power to make uncommon things happen, every believer is a carrier of miracle. Jesus once addressed the disciples saying “if ye have faith as grain mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you” (Matt. 17:20).

If you can say it with a heart of faith, God can do it. God’s Word is right with us, and God’s words are active, everything God says manifests. We are all products of God’s words. Also, in like manner, God has promised to work, based on our confessions. “Whatever I hear you say”. The greatest miracle is the salvation of our soul borne out of our confession. Confess whatever you are expecting God to do for you, it could be healing, deliverance, breakthrough, or uplifting.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Oh Lord, make me a source of miracle where blessing, healing, deliverance, etc. are coming out from into other peoples’ lives.

2. Faithlessness and unbelief depart my life, and let the grace to confess positively come upon me.

3. Lord, let there be genuine miracles, signs and wonders that will proclaim Your name in our churches around the world, so that unbelievers would see and come to Your knowledge.
