December 19, 2020 Spirit Meat Devotional : Topic – JOINING TO THE ANOINTING III – Acts 8:29, 2 Kings 2:1-18

I want you to remember that God is still disconnecting men from evil flows and joining them to the right flows. One of the attacks of the devil against divine joining comes through the spirit of mockery. When Elijah was going and Elisha kept following him, the sons of the prophet mocked him that the Lord was taking his master from him. The spirit of mockery still works to separate men from their destinies today. For example, you are praying and the Holy Spirit says, “Go and anoint your daughter”, and you came downstairs to meet your daughter in the midst of people, but you don’t want to do it publicly; that is the spirit of mockery trying to separate you from that anointing.
Will you have the anointing when people that are important in your life need it or would you have been separated from it by the spirit of mockery? You just finished service in church, and you had an inspiration in your heart to kneel down in front of the man of God for him to lay hands on you, and that spirit said, “Are you going to kneel in front of everybody?” Peter said that mockers will arise in the last days; these are people who are sensual, that is, they follow their senses and separate themselves from the Spirit (2 Pet. 3:3 AMP). This spirit wants to separate you from the Holy Spirit, the anointing, and from the benefits of obeying God. “What would people say?” … that is the spirit of mockery talking.
PRAYER: Father, I receive deliverance from the spirit of mockery. I will not be disconnected from the anointing by the operations of this spirit in Jesus Name.
