TOPIC: SUPERMAN’S WORLD

Read Galatians 6:1-10

1 Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass,  you who are spiritual restore such a one in a  spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest  you also be tempted.

2 Bear one another’s  burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

3 For if  anyone thinks himself to be something, when he  is nothing, he deceives himself.

4 But let each  one examine his own work, and then he will have  rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

5  For each one shall bear his own load.

6 Let him who is taught the word share in all  good things with him who teaches.

7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for  whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

8  For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh  reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit  will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

9 And let us  not grow weary while doing good, for in due  season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

10  Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do  good to all, especially to those who are of the  household of faith.

MEMORISE:

For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing he deceives himself. (Galatians 6:3)

EXPOSITION

The only known superman is in a fictional movie. He never exists in the real world. He is just an animation created to entertain our emotions. No one can achieve success alone. Even the fictional superman also needs others to achieve his goals.

We all exist to assist one another to the top. Hence, we must bear one another”s burdens. When God called Moses to bring the Isrealites out of Egypt, God gave him Aaron as a spokesman, Joshua as warlord, Caleb as a motivator, Hur as an hand-lifted, Jethro as an adviser, Bezaleb, Aholiab, and many others, to help him succeed in  his assignment.

Everyone God creates, carries unique abilities. We designed by God to do things in excellent ways. Since the creation of man, our world has been a world of exploits (Gen. 5, 6,7). Why? We are fearfully and wonderfully made. Don’t look down on yourself, you are unique in creation. However, your super-nature is given to make others super, and by so doing, you become a super-man. We become super by exploring ourselves in line -with God’s purposes for our lives, and manifesting these unique abilities positively in helping others to become what God purposes for them.

You should be a push to someone’s breakthrough; someone else will be a push  to yours. What you  sow you will reap *(Gal. 6:7). If you can help others get to the top, God will also make people available to help you get to the top. We are created for one another’s progress. As you go out today, make sure you give someone a positive push to the top. Don’t walk alone.

PRAYER POINT:

1. Lord, help me to discover those I should support, physically and spiritually.

2. Lord, connect me with those that You have sent to contributes to my success.

3. Lord, let our leaders in government see the need to truly impact our society positively.
