Title: Wait Patiently On The Lord.

(psalm 40:1-4) I waited patiently for the Lord; He turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in Him. Blessed is the one who trust in the Lord, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods.

Child of God, please if you have not prayed before reading this devotional, please pause for a moment and pray .  God will give you understanding of what He is saying in this devotional today. Amen. !! This encouragement is for you and me. There is a saying that goes like this. God’s time is the best!! . Yes in deed, His time is the best. You know why? God is not a man, He is God , He is Mighty, He is all powerful, and He operates in mysterious ways.

When He created us He had plans for us , so when we are going through different challenges, the best thing is to call unto Him and wait for Him to respond. If we are in a hurry to tackle any situation we can miss a lot of things and end up making mistakes . Whatever He does is perfect, He does not make mistakes. Any challenges we are going through He knows about them and had better plan for the outcome.

When we wait upon the Lord in prayers and supplications , It allows us to get better grip of how Mighty God is. It helps us to feel His presence in our lives. God knows the end from the beginning, He knows how to handle that problem so that , at the end you will have testimonies. The psalmist recorded how he waited on the Lord and when God showed up , He gave Him testimonies, and put new songs in his mouth.

Child of God, what is that storm that is raging in your life? Are you looking for a job? Are you looking for a husband or a wife? Are you looking for money to start building your own house? Are you emotionally unstable? Are you suffering from any terminal illness? Has the Doctor told you that  this sickness you have has no cure? Are you looking to get your green cards? Or What are those stubborn challenges that are giving you sleepless nights? God is telling you this morning to wait patiently unto Him. No matter how difficult it may seem, God is telling you this morning to pray and wait upon Him.

Do not try to seek help from another god, other gods the power they have are powerless powers, they are false gods that claim to do what they are not capable of doing, even if they do something it will be fake and will  not last. The God we serve is a consuming fire. He is a compassionate God , When we pray and wait on  Him to answer , He does not fail. Even though He may delay, but when He comes you will rejoice, you will testify, you will dance like a winner man.

One morning, I woke up then started trusting God for some challenges I was going through. I heard Him speaking to me through Psalm 46:10. He says, BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM THE LORD. ; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. When I heard this I began to praise His name, I began to give Him worship. I asked Him for the grace to wait upon Him like He told me. Believe me , He really showed up in a different dimension. Hallelujah! I can now testify, I can now say He is worthy.

Wait unto Him my brother, my sister. He must surely come. You will soon have a new testimony and a new song concerning that challenge or challenges in the Name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ I pray. Amen. The Lord is with us. Hallelujah!.

Prayer: Thank you Lord for giving me hope that as I wait upon you ,that you are going to give me a new song. God Please help me to wait patiently for your timing in Name. These challenges will turn into triumph in Jesus .Amen!!
