MEMORISE: And a voice spoke to him again the second time, “What God has cleansed you must not call common (Acts 10:15)

EXPOSITION

When the move of God occurs, it carries along with it abundantly blessings. But it takes those people who move with the move of God to be partakers of the blessings. The move of God does not come with siren. That is why, it is equally important to be sensitive enough to take note when it is ongoing. Those who fail to recognize the move of God will experience stagnation or a setback.

The Exodus of the children of Isreal from Egypt to Canaan was a move of God. God told Moses that when they were about to leave the land of Egypt, the people would ask for whatever they wanted from their neighbours, the Egyptians (Exod. 3:20-22). It happened  as God said. Those who could understand the move of God asked for something big and great from their neighbours (Exod. 11:2-3). Those who failed to know asked for something little or none. It behoves you to understand and obey divine instruction during the move of God. Out of 600 000 able men that left Egypt, it was only Joshua and Caleb who entered the land of Canaan for the two of them could recognize the move of God among them in the wilderness (Num. 32:11-12).

When the move of God brought the gentiles into the fold happened in the early church, the disciples failed to understand it. God had to lead Peter through some stricking experiences before he could follow the messagers back to the house of Cornelius (Acts 10:10-29). Learn to be sensitive enough to understand the move of God in your life, family, church, environment and ministry and be moving with it to enjoy the blessings God has for you at that particular time.

The other Apostles and brethren did not understand the move until Peter, Paul and Barnabas passionately surfaced at the headquarters in Jerusalem (Acts. 15:1-21)

PRAYER POINTS

1. Father, enhance my sensitivity to move with Your move in my life, work and ministry.

2. I pray not to experience a setback or stagnation during the move of God in any particular point in time.
