Title: Power Of The Tongue
(Proverbs 18:21) The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. The tongue is one of the smallest parts of the body , the Bible says it carries the power of life and death. This is serious, the other big systems of the body , non of them carries the power of life and death but the tongue. In the language of science we will think that it is the heart that carries such power, because it is the heart that pumps blood to every organ of the body, when the heart fails, the whole system of the body begins to shut down, but the Bible says it is the tongue, so the tongue is very powerful among all other parts of the body.
With your tongue as a child of God you have the ability to speak good or bad into your atmosphere depending on the one you choose. In your relationship with anyone, be it your children, wife or husband, through your word you have the ability to tear down your family or build them up. That is the reason why we always make out time to break some curses which people attracted from their family line.
(Matthew 18:18) says “Verily I say to unto you , Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. You see the power that is in the tongue now? Because of this power that is in the tongue that is why we have to be very very careful what we say out of our mouth. God created us in His image and He spoke the earth into existence, so He gave us power too to speak and things will begin to happen.
A lot of times we are opening our mouth to curse the children, and other family members not knowing the effect which that curse is creating in their lives. When I was a child , I knew this boy , his grand mother used to call him a worthless child. When this man grew up he almost became a failure, nothing he put his hand would move, until when he became a born again, God moved things around for him, and now He is doing well. Let us not try to curse our children no matter whatever they have done, instead let us continue to bless them.
(Matthew 12: 36-37) “ I tell you, on the day of judgement people will give account for every careless word they speak”. “ For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned. As children of God let us be careful what we say, even when we are angry or happy. There are certain jokes we as children of God cannot tell, the Bible already says we are going to give account of every careless talks that comes out of our mouth.
That situation you are in now, those challenges you are going through, that storm of life that is mocking your God. Child of God, begin to speak to it right now? Begin to use the authority in power of God and your tongue, begin to speak yourself out of it. Speak to that pain, speak to that problem and I see you coming out of it with testimonies in Jesus Holy name.
Prayers: I speak favor upon my life this year in Jesus mighty name. I decree and declare, this month is going to be a month of open door, supernatural breakthrough, testimonies and abundant life in Jesus Mighty name.
