Title: Cast Your Cares On The Lord
(Psalm 55:22) Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken. God wants us to bring our burdens to Him, but often we continue to bear them ourselves even when we say we are completely trusting in Him. This is like standing up and holding all your luggages during a long plan flight. Trust in the same power from God that sustains you each day to also carry your cares and burdens. Many times we say we are trusting in His word but we say it for saying sake but we still not giving everything to Him.
When you take your car to a mechanic , you leave the car with him and trust that He will fix your car, you don’t worry or think bout how he is going to fix it. The same way we have to bring our burden to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. (Matthew 11:28-30) Come unto me, all you who weary and are burdened, and I will give rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest fo your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
God is always happy when we come to Him with a total submission under the power of the Holy Spirit. Faith is what moves the compassion of our father. A lot of times we claim we have faith in God, we claim that we have given it to God but we are still worried.
(Philippians 4:6-7) Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation , by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God . And the peace of God , which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
We have a God who is always thinking about us, He cares , He is mindful of us. All we have to do is to bring our problems to Him, and wait on His perfect time. He never fails, what He says He will do , He will do. When we cast our cares upon Him, He takes it when we do not doubt, we have read from the Bible how He cared for those who trusted Him totally without doubts. He was the one who spoke to the Red Sea and it turns to dry land for the Israelites. He is the same God of yesterday, today and forever. I see you testifying as you cast your burden on the Lord in Jesus name. Amen.
Prayer: God of heaven and earth, help me Lord to look unto you as my sustainer and give of life in Jesus mighty name. Thank you Lord for your word says that I am wonderfully and fearfully made. Take glory my God in Jesus mighty name.
