GOD’S GRACE IS SUFFICIENT
READ 2 CORINTHIANS 12:9
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
MEMORISE: And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2 CORINTHIANS 12:9)
EXPOSITION
God’s grace is sufficient to see us through situations! We have to remember that. This was what the Lord told Apostle Paul when he was either being persecuted, or sick because of his ministry to the Gentiles. When we serve the Lord, there are bound to be tough times, and when the going gets tough, our Lord tells us, My grace is sufficient for you! That grace is powerful enough to see the Christian through situations in life. It is the grace of God through our Lord Jesus Christ, and it is very clear that the power of God is inestimably unbeatable.
God never promises/guarantees us that following Him, an integral part of which is serving Him, is going to be free of problems and antagonism-persecutions. In fact, Jesus said, And You will be hated by all for My name’s sake (Matt.10v22). He also says in John 16v33, In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. And of Jesus has overcome the world and He is with, and in us, then together with Him, we shall overcome the world. Hallelujah!
So, as you walk with Christ and serve Him, know that He is with you, and that His grace is always sufficient for you. There is not a situation where God’s grace cannot extend to. Remember, He is everywhere at the same time. So, He cannot look away from His children. There is no child of God who will not be strengthened by His grace when he encounters crises in his walk and ministry. God will be there, ahead of us, and His grace will lift us when our feet are feeble. God’s hands will carry us and we will be victorious in His Name. His grace is sufficient for you.
PRAYER POINTS
1. I rely on Your grace, O Lord; may I ever be strengthened by Your unlimited grace.
2. Help me, Lord, to continue to walk confidently, believing that Your unfailing grace abounds for me.
3. Pray for CAC Olutimehin Region, our father in the Lord, the Superintendent, and it’s officers at the various levels, as led by the spirit of God.
