TOPIC: WHY NOT NOW

TEXT: ACTS 26:1-32

BIBLE TEXT: “Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian” (ACTS 26:28).

King Agrippa was almost persuaded to be a Christian when Apostle Paul providentially reached out to him with the gospel, but he failed to repent. He missed God’s salvation narrowly. Oh, what a miss!
The case of George Mueller was positively different. George had been a terrible sinner from childhood. He admitted that at age ten he was a habitual thief and an expert at cheating. Any time he was caught in his sins, he pretentiously repented to avoid punishment. He grew in his sinful habits. Immorality and lying were among his vices. Soon, he became a drunkard. Even the night his mother died, he staggered through the streets drunk.

Attending the school of a church ministry could not change him. However, one night, one of his companions took him to a Christian meeting. The programme so peculiarly affected him that he knelt down and surrendered to Christ. He later became a great minister of God.
Are you like King Agrippa, postponing your salvation? Repent now, for tomorrow may be too late. Only one night, and George’s destiny changed from hell to heaven.

QUOTE: Tomorrow may be too late

CHALLENGE: Decide for Christ now and turn from your sinful ways.

PRAYER: Lord, I repent today, forgive me of all my sins.
