FORWARD BY THE GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT, PASTOR S. O. OLADELE
TO ALL MINISTERS AND MEMBERS OF GOD IN CHRIST APOSTOLIC CHURCH (WORLWIDE) FOR YEAR 2021 A. D. PRAYER WEEK.
There is no doubt that the year 2020 will go down as truly unforgettable in history. The unexpected pandemic shook the entire world, nowhere was left out. The miracle however was where most disasters was expected – Africa – and especially Nigeria (most populous in Africa) that was where was least fatality in spite of the near non-existent Medicare. This can be attributed to nothing but the Hand of God in the affairs of our nation, He empowers the faint and the weak and grant salvation to all those who turn to him. The Church is needed triumphant, glory to God. We owe our survival to no one but the God who said “turn to me and be ye saved” all the nations of the world.
As we transit into another year, we must continue to turn to God in the midst of continuity worldwide pandemic, national unrest and the transition of our denomination into a new leadership. We need to turn to God for sufficient grace to see us through the New Year 2021.
We are privileged to have founding fathers that have working covenant with God and we can confidently key in to their God given covenant. We should not forget that God is the one that holds the key to every prevalent situations in both the world and in the church. His promise that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church is still valid and active, and we must not forget His promise to always be with us till the end of the earth. These promises are sure anchor for us in the New Year and every other year no matter what happens.
I want to wish every member a glorious and Happy New Year, filled with pleasant experiences and testimonies. The Lord will empower us to do exploits and make giant strides like never before this year in the name of our God. Welcome to 2021.
