December 30, 2020 Spirit Meat Devotional : Topic – THE MAN IS THE HEAD OF THE FAMILY; THE HUSBAND IS A JOINT (2) – Genesis 18:19; 1 Peter 3:1-7

Yesterday, we emphasized the position of the husband as a joint and the need to be awakened to spiritual responsibilities. Every man should also come up to the place of leadership and headship. Don’t lead your family away from God as a man. Don’t allow evil in your house. God respects your authority in your house as a man. Lead your family right so your family can be preserved.
There is nothing that will help your children more than seeing you lift holy hands in the house of God and kneeling in the presence of God. Close the doors of your home to strange flows so that your seed can be preserved. Take the lead in spiritual things and see the difference it is going to make in your home.
Parents should understand the fact that their children will follow what they do more than what they say. Children will follow what their parents are doing at home more than what they are hearing in church.
Every man should connect to the flow on the pastor God has chosen for him. You may not be exactly like the pastor in the spirit, but you should be on the way. You must have a measure of the same sensitivity and accuracy that your divinely chosen pastor carries in the spirit in your home. The same force that flows in your pastor’s spirit must flow in your spirit.
PRAYER: I pray for every man reading this that your wife will be able to look up to you and your children will be able to depend on the daddy that is there in Jesus name. Amen.
