HIS WILL, HIS WAY
Read: Romans 11:33-36; Romans 12:1-2
Romans 11:33-36 Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
“For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?”
“Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?”
For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.
Romans 12:1-2 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

EXPOSITION
It is popularly said that, where there is will, there is way. This is to say that once one has the determination to go for something, no insurmountable mountain! However, not all man’s ways is equal to God’s will! This is why it is incumbent on every Christian believers to lay premium on seeking God’s will (Psa. 34:10), including the type of prayers (1 Jn.5:14).
The will of God is His way. Therefore, it has implications that, if you know not His will, (Obviously because you don’t seek to know it) you will not know His way (John.14:6). And, by so doing, you go astray simply because you miss The Way!
Recognising Gods will for you in life, marriage, career, etc is not God’s business. It is your own role of putting efforts in prayers and meditating in Hus Words (Ps.119:105). As a matter of fact, when you become born of God, you are on the brink of knowing His WILL for you in all ramifications. Many complain a lot today that they are having difficulty in getting HIS WILL for their marital lives most especially. This can only be so since such are yet to become God’s will yielding totally to their Maker (Rev.3:20).
You can’t be fighting your earthly father and expect him to embrace you! (Isa.44:9) God’s will is pivotal to being able to have enviable spiritual, marital, social, financial, etc lives. Knowing and doing God’s will helps you to be consistent in your daily walk with God. Those who fail to recognise His Will, will find it difficult to escape the corruption of the present world (2 Pet.1:4). They will rather confirm, instead of being transformed (Rom.12:2). Like Paul did, you are now beseeched to know His will.
PRAYER POINTS
1. O Lord, let me see Your Will and Way in all my undertakings.
2. Help each believers oh Lord to known Your will by submitting to Your will and doing it.
3. Oh Lord, help each believers to be set free from manipulators and deceivers in the name of false prophecies.
