Title: Power of Prayer:
Wonderful things happen in our lives when we develop the attitude of prayer. When we engage in prayers we are allowing God a place in our lives, when we bring our needs to God in prayers , He understands that we have given Him the total control to take over and that makes Him move on our behalf. Through prayers we have the opportunity to reach our full potential in Jesus. Prayers make us to feel the closeness with our Lord. The importance of prayers cannot be over emphasized.
(1 Thessalonians 5:16-18) Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. The Bible has given us a lot of encouragements to pray. God wants us to come to our heavenly father to make our requests known to Him. He is always ready to hear from us. He knows our needs but wants us to bring it to him, that way we can establish relationship with Him, that is very important.
The more we grow in our prayer lives the more we feel the presence of God in our lives, we will see the power of the Holy Spirit moving in a wonderful way when we pray. Attitude of prayers radiates the favor of God in our lives. It makes you feel secured knowing that you are in close contact with the Almighty God. For me , if I wake up in the morning and have not prayed, I don’t feel at ease, I will be feeling unsafe, if I try to drive out when I have not prayed I will be afraid to drive on the road, I will be feeling like something is missing in my life, but when I pray I feel empowered and cozy. Praise the Lord! .
Prayer gives you security both in the spirit and in physical. By the time you pray over yourself and your family, devil and his agents will know that you have set boundaries between yourself and them. They will never invade your territory. They will see the fire of God flying around you and they will run. The power of prayer attracts the power of God, favor of God , peace and happiness.
Some people have told me that the problem they have is that they don’t know how to pray. May be that is the case for you too. May be you can pray the prayer of the blind man in the Bible who heard that Jesus was passing by, he continued to shout “”Jesus the son of David have mercy on me””!!The Bible indicates that Jesus honored his prayer and healed him. (Romans 10:13) Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.) If you don’t know how to pray start to learn by calling the name of Jesus repeatedly, and say Jesus the son of God please have mercy on me. Call on His name ask Him to come into your life, your life will not remain the same and you will have testimonies in Jesus name. Your prayer will attract the favor of God from today moving forward in Jesus name. Let us continue to pray for each other, our families and our land , God will have mercy on us in Jesus name. Let us continue to watch and pray. The world we live in now requires fervent prayers, the world now is full of wickedness and only the power of pray can give us sustenance in the Lord. Amen!!
Prayers: Oh father please help me to ignite my prayer altar in Jesus name. Jesus the son of God, have mercy on me in Jesus name. Thank you Lord for all that you are doing for me in Jesus name.
