Title: Accept God’s love with a Thankful Heart
Have you thanked God this morning for His love for you? (Romans 5:8 ) Have you thanked Him today for what He did for you at the cross of Calvary? Have you thanked God today for bringing you into the new month? but God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. God is loving and gracious.
I want to encourage us this morning to accept the love of Christ and believe in Him. The Triune God , God the father, son and Holy Spirit has perfect love , unconditional love for me and you. His love has nothing attached to it. He does not love us because we are righteous, beautiful or because we deserved His love but because God is love.
He created us in love and wants us to appreciate Him. That magnitude of love was what took Him to the cross to shed His blood for the remission of our sins . He said it is finished, if He has given His life for us what else can He not do for us? How are you showing God appreciation? How do we go extra miles to appreciate His love for us as He went extra miles to show us love by giving His life for you and me.
We don’t have time for Him, we find it difficult to spend time with God in prayers. He has time for us but we don’t have time for Him. I encourage us today to reflect to His lavished love on the cross and show Him appreciation, despite our nonchalant attitude towards God , He is still cherishing us and still continues to beg us to draw nearer to Him.
(Jeremiah 29:10-14). God has great plans for me and you . He is ready to welcome us back today . Let us have a heart of gratitude because He is a loving and compassionate God. His love endures forever. His anger is for a short time but His love endures forever. Please get up this morning with a thankful heart. Spend time with God in prayers, thanks giving, spend time reading His word to know His will for you.

PRAYERS: God please help me to show gratitude for all you have done for me. Help me to know you as my Lord and savior, God please help my unbelief and weakness. As I go out this month please father have mercy on me and continue to let your presence go with me. Please cover me and my house hold in the blood of your son Jesus Christ in the Mighty name . May the countenance of the Lord continues to shine upon your life in Jesus Mighty name. amen.
