NEED NO INTRODUCTION
Read: 1 Samuel 17:31-37
1 Samuel 17:31-35 And when the words were heard which David spake, they rehearsed them before Saul: and he sent for him.
And David said to Saul, Let no man’s heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.
And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.
And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father’s sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock:
And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.
Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.
David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.
MEMORISE:
Do you see a man who excels in his work, he will stand before kings; he will not stand before unknown men (Proverbs 22:29)
EXPOSITION
God knows you more than yourself, He knows what you are made of, and you are His by-product. He is Omniscient. He is all knowing. Above all He has your master plan/blue print with Him as well as ways and manners (methods) to carry out, fulfilling, achieving the master plan. Therefore, cooperate with Him and the assignment, He has given you graciously (Philippians 1:6).
Thousand and one people today cry of not having men to introduce them to the one to help them. They forget what the scriptures say that their talents will make way for them. God has deposited in us all we need to get to our destination in life but because we do not discover, develop and make use of these gifts in us we cry of no man to introduce us.
God chose David before his birth but David kept developing according to God’s purpose 1 Sam. 16:18. David’s skill introduced him into the Palace. Joseph’s gift introduced him to the palace, Daniel became special specie in Babylon through his gift. Look inwards, you have gotten something great in you to introduce you to great men. Pro.22:29. Annex your gift today so that it will open doors and usher you into the palace you desire. You, like every other man have gotten the potentials to be great and fulfill destiny and purpose for which you are here. Discover it, develop it and receive God’s grace to DEMONSTRATE it. Remove the fear, stop procrastinating, give it your all and you will be there in no time.
Joseph, Daniel, David, knew nobody but their God’s given talent and gifts. A trial today will take you to that glorious place you’re designed for. Go and fulfill your divine mandate in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Lord, open my eyes and heart to see and understand those potentials You have deposited in me and to use them accordingly.
2. O Lord, help me to overcome the spirit of fear and procrastination that is hindering me from fulfilling Your intention upon my life.
3. Holy Spirit divine, sanctify Your church and release Your gifts into our churches so that souls will be edified in all our meetings.
