I JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING
Read: Ruth 2:1-17

And Ruth the Moabitess said to Naomi, Let me go to the field and glean among the ears of grain after him in whose sight I shall find favor. Naomi said to her, Go, my daughter. (Ruth 2:2)
EXPOSITION
What is that little thing that drops into your mind/heart? What is it that you just think about? What idea is in your head? Do you know every great man of all ages once had at time or the other, to think about one small thing or the other. There has never been a man who was great in life that has no small or little idea that crossed his mind. Proverbs says the journey of thousand mile beings with a step and little drops of water make a mighty ocean. You need the first of everything.
To be great, you must think of something, you must have an idea. An idea is a formulated thought or opinion. It is a visible representation of a conception. An idea makes a man great in life. To grow your idea, you must work with relevant information and tools. Do not just go about with ideas, do something worthwhile with it. Make enquires. Work smart with it; hard work is not enough. As a child of God, immediately after conversion, your heart is washed by the blood of Jesus Christ making it MORE receptive for new and relevant ideas.
No man has the monopoly of little thought, others have too. Therefore, time of execution is essential. A stitch in time they say, saves nine. Take the initiative timely. Ruth thought of going into a field to fend for herself and her mother-in-law, Naomi. This little idea paid her so greatly Ruth 2v2. Though she wanted daily food, her timely action got her the favour of Boaz.
What you can think, you can achieve. We must be propelled by the lofty ideas to the actualization of it. It must be the fire that must not be quenched.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Holy Spirit, of God, breath upon me now and give me that insight that my life needs that will turn my life around for better.
2. Help me O Lord to make use of all You have deposited in me, I refuse to be a stagnant river that stinks, let great ideas, being to flow from me into my world.
3. Pray for those in position of authority in our churches and nation that they will be surrounded with those who will supply great and profitable ideas to them.
