LESSON INTRODUCTION Patience is a great virtue. The expectations of God on the believers concerning this is high. Therefore anyone who claims to believe in God and hope to receive anything from Him must distance himself/herself from impatience. Abraham our father of faith, according to Romans 4:3 made this mistake in his walk with God. Our second Bible text maintains that he went jn with his wife’s housemaid and she gave birth to a son – Ishmael instead of waiting for the promised son – Isaac. So Ishmael came out of Abraham’s impatience.
