Memory Verse: “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:20, NIV
Sometimes ago, a team was raised to reconcile two conflicting parties in a local Church. The process was very difficult and dangerous. After a while, party A decided to forgive the other group and reconcile but party B remained adamant and stubborn. The members of party B insisted that their demands ought to be met at all costs. At the end of the day, the Church split into two.
Like the role of the reconciliation team, Apostle Paul reveals that Christians are in this world to reconcile men to God. Sin estranges humankind from God, but God offers forgiveness through Christ Jesus. Whoever accepts the gospel and turns away from sin will become a child and a friend of God. That is the gospel!
My friend, God is seeking for meaningful intimate relationship with the people around you. Hold no grudge against anyone. He depends on you to initiate the reconciliation between them and God. Without you taking a deliberate effort, they may never be saved from sin, Satan and the destruction of the world. God is sending you out today. Do the work of reconciliation!
Insight: God depends on you to save sinners.
Prayer: Dear Father, lead me to those who are ready to be saved today!
