REVELATION 21:1-7
TOPIC: ALL WILL BE NEW
‘“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death”c or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.’”
Revelation 21:4, NIV
There is a quest for a new earth where there is peace and tranquility because life is full of pains and agony. Sin has taken the center place in the affairs of life. Satan is daily wreaking havoc and bringing disorder to the world and as such, causing sorrow.
John the beloved had a revelation of a new Heaven and a new earth where peace and joy will abound (vs. 1). He was showed the beauty and tranquility of the new order of things that is to come (vs. 2). This will occur after the righteous people from different nations and tribes have been taken from this sinful world to be with God (Revelation 14:1-5). God will put an end to tears, death, crying, pains, and make all things new again (vs. 5).
Are you tired of the pains and agony that is associated with this world? Then come to Jesus and accept Him as your LORD and Saviour. He is the path way to the new life in which all things will be made new. Without Jesus no one can enjoy all that will be new as promised by God.
Insight: God alone can make all things new, so depend on Him.
Prayer: My God, make all things new in my life in Jesus name.
