Moving countries is one of the biggest decisions a person can make, and the information around it is often confusing, out of date or written to sell something. MyRelig exists to fix that. We publish plain-English guides to visas, permanent residence, citizenship, jobs, money and travel, and we link every important claim back to the official source.

What we cover

  • Visas & Permits: work, study, family and visitor routes, and what each one really requires.
  • Green Cards & PR: permanent residence in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and beyond.
  • Citizenship: naturalisation requirements, tests, ceremonies and passports.
  • Jobs: visa sponsorship, CVs for foreign employers, credential recognition and avoiding scams.

Our principles

  1. Official sources first. We build every guide from government websites, legislation and official guidance, and we list those sources at the end of the article.
  2. Dates you can trust. Every guide shows when it was published and when it was last updated. When rules change, we revise the guide and change the date.
  3. No hype and no guarantees. Nobody can promise you a visa, a job or an approval, and we never will.
  4. Independence. Advertisers do not influence what we write. Read our advertising disclosure and editorial policy.

What we are not

MyRelig is an independent publication. We are not a law firm, an immigration consultancy or a government agency, and we are not affiliated with USCIS, the US Department of State, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI), or any other government body.
