October 13, 2019 Spirit Meat Daily Devotional : Topic – LABOUR NOT TO LOSE YOUR PLACE IN GOD – PROVERBS 27:8; PSALM 1:1-3
God describes a man as a planted tree and just as a tree does not move around, God wants us to move and relocate at the instance of His will only. For example, God plants a man in the family; a family in a city. He also plants you in a church and in your workplace. God has a place for you concerning every aspect of your life—in your family, in your father’s house, in a husband’s house, in a church, in the body of Christ, in your place of work and in life.
There is a place in the call of God upon a believer, there is a place in the anointing and there is a place with God for a person. We must discover and stay there to fulfil the plan of God for our lives. The following are three different types of people:
1. Those who lost their place and were replaced; and didn’t fulfil anything that God planned for them.
2. Those who left their place and so did not fulfil all that God planned for them.
3. Those who kept their place and fulfilled the purpose of God for their lives
My prayer for you is that nobody will take your place in the programme that God has drawn for your life. One of the worst things that can happen to a man is for another person to take his place. Nobody will take your place in God’s calling upon your life; nobody will take your place in your husband’s house, at your workplace or in life and your divine destiny. You will fulfil the plan and the purpose that God has designed for you in the name of Jesus.
PRAYER: Lord, I declare that I am a planting of the Lord and You will keep me. I receive grace to flourish in the Call of God upon my life; in my marriage, my career and none will take my place in Jesus’ name.
