December 23, 2020 Spirit Meat Devotional : Topic – REPERCUSSIONS OF JOINING TO STRANGE THINGS (2) – Hosea 4:17, Revelation 7:1-8

We shall continue from where we stopped yesterday. The Bible says, “Ephraim is joined to idols, let him alone.” God left him alone and that was the end. In the book of Revelation, the twelve tribes of Israel were mentioned there, but Ephraim’s name was no more found there. Manasseh’s name was there, but Ephraim’s name had been removed because he joined himself to idols. You will get your portion from whatever you join yourself to. Stay joined to God and don’t allow anything negative to join to you because you will get a portion of whatever is joined to you. If it is a portion of punishment, or a portion of judgment, or a portion of destruction, don’t let it join to you.
There are men carrying a sentence of death. A man was travelling to die and he begged his friend to go with him. The friend’s wife stood against it and reminded him that they had agreed to stay back home that weekend to take some break, having worked for some time without adequate rest, but he insisted on following the man, claiming that he had not made such a request before. He joined himself to the evil portion of his friend. If God has joined you to your wife, why should you join yourself to a man carrying a sentence of death? If you are not sure about a trip, then pray about it. If the people that God has joined to you are strongly against it, hold it! If you want to take a monumental decision and your wife or your husband is so much against it, or your children, your pastor and some critical friends that love you, believe in you, who have walked with you some distance said something is not right, hold it brother!
PRAYER: Father, help me to live conscious of everything I join myself to and things that can join to me. Deliver me from every evil joining today in Jesus Name.
