WONDERS OF GOD’S CREATION – 6
BIBLE TEXT: GENESIS 1:24-31
MEMORY VERSE: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them” (GENESIS 1:27)
Are you thrilled by what God made from day one to five? Creation day six was another eventful day. On it God made all land animals, big and small. He made them to be fruitful and to multiply to fill the earth. Then He made man and woman to also be fruitful and to multiply to increase human population and to replace the dead. God made man to have dominion over the lower animals. He made him last to ensure that all he would need for a happy life on earth was ready. God has also planned for all that you need this year and all through your life, as your supplier (see Philippians 4:19).
God made man in His own image in holiness, intelligence, wisdom, glory, power and love. However, when man fell in Eden, he fell short of that glory – he lost the traits that made him God-like. But thanks be to God for His redemption plan! All can now regain the glorious status through our Lord Jesus Christ. All things are yours through Christ (Romans 8:32).
