MESSAGE:
Money management is an important aspect of human life that is often overlooked. It is a topic that becomes increasingly relevant as you grow older and start to fend for yourself. Thankfully, you have the guidance and wisdom of the Bible to help you navigate life’s challenges and make the most of the resources that God has given to you.

The Bible reading for today is a reminder that wealth can be temporary and that you need to be mindful of how you spend your wealth. You must always look for ways to manage and grow your resources, rather than spend recklessly. In Matthew 25:14-30, Jesus told the parable of the talents. The master in the story gave his servants different amounts of money to invest, and the ones who invested wisely were rewarded. This shows that you should be careful and thoughtful about how you use your resources. Look for ways to maximise your returns on investments and make a positive impact.

What is your saving formula? If you don’t have one, think of one today and stick to it.

KEYPOINT:
Be prudent with your spending.

HYMN 8: LEAD US HEAVENLY FATHER LEAD US
1. Lead us, Heavenly Father, lead us
O’er the world’s tempestuous sea;
Guard us, guide us, keep us, feed us,
For we have no help but thee;
Yet possessing every blessing,
If our God our Father be.

2 Saviour, breathe forgiveness o’er us:
All our weakness Thou dost know;
Thou didst tread this earth before us,
Thou didst feel its keenest woe;
Lone and dreary, faint and weary,
Through the desert Thou didst go.

3. Spirit of our God, descending,
Fill our hearts with heavenly joy,
Love with every passion blending,
Pleasure that can never cloy:
Thus provided, pardoned, guided,
Nothing can our peace destroy.
