March 22, 2020 Spirit Meat Devotional :- DON’T DO EVERYTHING IN THE OPEN! – 2 Kings 4:2-5

There are some moves and activities you have to camouflage for the enemy. Many times, God hides His hands and moves in small things or small people to do big things. In spiritual warfare you must recognize this key.
In our text for today, what if the woman went to announce to the whole world what God told her to do only with her son? The miracle would have been aborted! Remember, there were times that Jesus did some miracles and then told the beneficiaries not to tell anyone! When they violated the instructions, they made His ministry in that region very difficult!
There are some instructions that you don’t announce until you have done enough to make sure there will be no abortion of the assignment. I read in the scripture that Elizabeth hid herself for five months after her conception. And there was a time in my ministry I gave a woman who is already advanced in age before she got pregnant a similar instruction. I told her to hide herself for five months because of the peculiarity of the situation. After five months, she asked me can she go out now? I told her yes, but that you are going to be the one explaining to the people how this happened.
There are things you must not blow in the open until the set time for it. God said in Habakkuk chapter 2 that the vision is yet for an appointed time. When things are done hurriedly, it may abort the program of God somewhere. In the book of Esther, Mordecai told Esther not to reveal her identity in the palace as a Jew, and at the end we saw the wisdom of keeping to that instruction.
PRAYER: Lord, help me to always keep to divine instruction that will birth the divine in my life. Amen!
