September 4, 2020 Spirit Meat Devotional :- WHEN GOD GIVES YOU A POST, DON’T COMPROMISE I – Daniel 1:1-8

Daniel was divinely selected – he was put on a platform and that was the beginning of his journey to greatness and wealth. If all you have is a job, it means you are not there yet, believe God for a post. A job will fetch you a salary, but a post will take you to a place of influence where you will begin to command some other forces under your control.
However, while qualifying yourself for wealth in Zion, you must reject worldly offers. Some people know that God will provide but they are not very certain, so they take an offer from another source. I have searched the Scriptures and I have found out that before you qualify for Zion wealth, God will test you. He will test you to prove that you will not receive wealth from another source.
Daniel was divinely selected and included among the personal assistants to the president – what a platform! The next thing was that they were going to corrupt him and the other Hebrew boys. They were going to adapt them from Israelites to Babylonians; they were going to empty them of every Jewish trait and tendency and then pour inside them everything Babylonian. Consequently, they will be Jewish nominally, but Babylonians by life. There were special meals that they were to be fed with and many of the recipes from the king’s table were forbidden for the Jews – these were things that God specifically told them not to eat. You have no reason to compromise as a child of God. Your God has a billion channels through which He is going to send resources.
PRAYER: Lord, I receive every post You have created for me; I step into the reality and I receive grace never to compromise in Jesus name. Amen!
