October 10, 2020 Spirit Meat Devotional :- UNDERSTANDING THE CLUES THAT DESTINY BRINGS FOR DANIELS (2) – Daniel 1:6-15

We will continue with another clue that destiny may bring your way as a Daniel. This clue is to mind what will matter later. Daniel was a man of integrity and was upright. He had mastered how to mind what will matter later. Don’t give a chance to any shortcoming in your life as you go through your training. Not taking heed to little or critical things has made some people fall from grace to grass.
Have you not seen people who forged certificates to get an admission or a job, forged visa to travel abroad, gave false information or impression on visa applications? These are faults following such people to the height of destiny and these same faults will bring them down. God always tries to help people deal with negative circumstances in their lives; however, if you refuse to deal with such issues, they will become calamities for you when you get to a place of prominence in the future.
When they tell you that somebody fell from grace to grass, observe, because the snake that bit him in the height of grace climbed with him from the grass. That snake was hanging on his trousers as he was climbing. He felt the weight of the snake but refused to shake it off. God intends to let you feel the weight of the snake so shake it off now before that thing shakes you off from the height of destiny because the higher you go in life, the more painful and damaging a fall will be for you and the Kingdom of God. Even if it does not make sense to anyone, mind it, pay attention to it.
PRAYER: Lord, help me to shake off every fault and shortcoming in my life; I will not fall from grace to grass.
