Title: Rejoice and Be Glad in Jesus
(Psalm 118:24) This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Though, every day we go to sleep and wake up we should be thanking God. The Psalmist knew the importance of giving God thanks. Psalm 146: 1-2 says, I will praise the LORD as long as I live. Because the Lord did not allow me to end my life in vein, I will thank Him from everlasting to everlasting . I will praise GOD’s name in Songs and glorify Him with thanksgiving and rejoicing.
(Psalm 69:30. )This morning as we wake up let us have a heart of thanksgiving. Remember everything God has done for you , thank Him for His infinite grace. (Lamentation 3:22-23) .Because of The Lord’s great love we are not consumed for His compassions never fail, they are new every morning, great is your faithfulness.
My beloved in the Lord , try to develop a heart of gratitude to God. Think about His goodness and mercy upon your life. I was reading newspaper a while ago and saw the population that have died of Corvid 19 alone, thousands of people, not adding the number of those who died from other natural causes. For the fact, that your name was not on that list is a very good reason to thank God. My dear brother, sister get up this morning and begin to thank God because He is good to you and me. He did greater job by going to the cross of Calvary to sacrifice His dear life for you and me. What else can He not do for us.? If we are not giving Him thanks, we are making a mistake. Let us sing songs of joy to Him. Remember all He has done for you, that you are alive today is not about how careful you have been, not about the kind of nutrition you are taking, is not about the type of activities you performed, not because you are righteous or the most wonderful person . You are alive today by His grace.
Please if you don’t see any reason to thank God, me I see many reasons to be thankful to God. So join me to thank God for His loving kindness upon my life. When I remember what He did for me at the Cross, while I was yet a sinner He died for me, He cherishes me all year round no matter how I am or what I am doing He still loves me. If you remember what He did for you please show Him appreciation, give Him your thankful heart, appreciate Him in every areas of your life . Give Him thanks offering, do not only thank Him with your lips, show Him that you appreciate Him. He gave you life, shelter, He clothes you, He gave you children etc, some people are in the hospital paying for oxygen, we are getting free air without difficulty and is free.
Children of God, we have sooooo much to be thankful for. Give Him your heart of worship. Yesooo. He is worthy! He is worthy!! Give Him praise my dear. Give Him praise, Give Him your gift offering. He sacrificed His life for you and me, and still sacrificing. Give Him your life today, if you have not accepted Him as your Lord and savior, do that today and you will reap more of His benefits. The Lord is good , yes He is good, please do not deny Him your thankful heart, and your thanks offering. Be thankful, to Him, remember all His benefits. We cannot thank Him enough.
Prayers: God Almighty, thank you for all you have done for me. There is none like you among the gods. Who is like you? Glorious In holiness. You are wonderful, you are gracious. I praise you and honor you. I give you all the adoration, I give you my life, I give you all Jesus, receive them because you deserve them. I thank you my Lord and my God . Take all the worship because you alone is God Almighty. Jesus thank you Lord for everything you have done. Hallelujah!! Amen.
