EXPOSITION
Weather you like it or not, your life is not your own; one day you will return to the dust where you came as today marks International Mother Earth Day. Or can you tell how you came to being? Everything, both seen and unseen, rises and falls on the God’s desk. Every man, regardless of religion or race must know and accept the fact that we are ordinary, useless, worm, and of no reputation (Psa.22v6), expect for the breadth and glory of God in us (Gen.1v26). The atheist must be ignorant for claiming there is no God (Psa.14v1). The disciples, though had been with Jesus for a while, were not able to heal, because their Master hadn’t breathed on them (Matt.17v14-16). After they received His Breath of Power, they were enabled to do great exploits (Acts 5v14, 15; 19v11,12).
You begin to live the life of Christ the moment you give your life to Jesus. Like Paul says in Galatians 2v20, *NIV:I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.* So, you can’t live your life carelessly as you wish, but must surrender to the will of the Master, Creator, and Sustainer of your life. When we, as believers have this consciousness, we will Endeavour to live accountable, noble and descent lives, with soberness of heart, modesty, and reverence; having in mind that doing otherwise may result in the Owner of our lives taking them back from us (Lk.12v20). No wonder, Jesus exclaimes, *…not My will, but Yours, be done* (Lk.22v42).
Crave the grace of God to bear all things (pains, prosecutions,  lack, etc.) for the sake of Christ who gave us His life that we may live now and in eternity with Him. By doing this, we are sure of enjoying His unstoppable blessings and remarkable interventions, now and ultimately, eternal bliss with Him in the end. May we not miss it. Amen.
