Dare to do the Impossible
Read Matthew 14:26-29
26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
MEMORIZE: And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. (Matthew 14:29)
EXPOSITION
The story of Jesus walking on water appears in three of the four gospels (Matthew, Mark, and John), but only in Matthew do we learn that Peter also walked on water. What a lesson for us today! We too, can do the Impossible. Hallelujah! When we look to Jesus and obey His commands, which sometimes may seem irrational, we too can do the impossible just as He did. In our attempts of obedience, this world may judge us crazy, foolish, or even persecute us to the marrow, the truth remains we are the only people on earth entrusted with God’s supernatural power. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Phil.4v13).
Faith is simply taking the next step as you’re commanded by God over an endeavour and that faith step unleashes the supernatural which enables a Christian to walk on water of impossibilities and have incredible results.
You need to know that a little step of faith is far better than no faith at all. What exactly are you looking to God for? And what inner prompting of a faith step, are you struggling with? Dare to go ahead as the indwelling Spirit of God prompts you with regards to your career, marriageability, business propositions, ventures and etcetera. Do not allow fear to cow you, be it the fear of people’s opinions, no support, no fund or whatever. Step out in faith. Let Jesus, your Lord and Saviour be the deciding factor here. Let Him lead the way and be the way as you dare the impossible today. Success awaits you.

PRAYER POINTS
1. O Lord, strengthen my inner man far beyond expectation, that I may achieve the seemingly impossible, and bring glory to You with enviable results, in Jesus’ name.
2. Every impossibility on my way is neutralised in Jesus’ name.
3. Pray for CAC Sophia Ajayi Region, our father in the Lord, the Superintendent, and its officers at the various levels, as the Spirit leads.
