TOPIC: LET GOD HANDLE IT (II)
READ: Mark 5:25-28
[25] And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
[26] And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
[27] When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
[28] For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well” (Mark 5:28)
EXPOSITION
The healing of the woman with the issue of blood is a household story among those seeking divine intervention over their age-long diseases or sicknesses. The three gospels, Matthew, Mark, and Luke narrate the story, but its account in Mark, the passage read above, pictures how the woman took her plight to God for Him to handle and how she desperately fought through the crowd to have her desires fully met.
The dominion of sin against a soul who is desperately willing for a breakaway, can be likened to this sick woman who left no stone unturned till she broke through the horrific plague of the issue of blood. She came and got healed, for Jesus says, Someone deliberately touched me, for I felt healing power go out from me (Lk. 8:46 NLT). Hallelujah!
Unlike many in the crowd, this woman, out of desperation intentionally allowed God to handle her bleeding plague, and she was completely made whole. Do not stop at anything until God handles and resolves that embarrassment of sinfulness, weaknesses, failures, shortcomings, and disappointments you so much loathe in your life. God is more than willing and able to set you free.
To be free indeed, you need to desperately breakthrough the crowd of doubts in your heart, that self-pity, the shyness, to own up to your sin and the apportionment of blames. Let God handle it for you now as you join voices with the saints globally to pray it up for your undeniable testimony. Amen.
PRAYER POINTS
1. O Lord, I pray Jesus’ saving power to save me from sin, self, and the dominion of Satan.
2. In Jesus’ name, I receive the healing power of Jesus to break free from all shackles of demonic holds, in Jesus’ name.
3. I declare: every demonic force troubling our nation, catch fire, in Jesus’ name.
