TOPIC: DEMONIC INFLUENCE

EXPOSITION
To be possessed of demons is totally being different from influenced by them. Demons are real, and everywhere. Anyone who is not in Christ Jesus is their potential victim. This is also true of the careless believer who can be influenced by evil spirit. A careless Church and minister of God can be ignorantly under influence of demonic forces, and be operating under it. One of the signs of demonic influence in a Christian life is deviating from the Faith, i.e renouncing the sound doctrine for the false and heretical doctrine. Demm are always on assignment to influence gullible believers to welcome worldliness and permissiveness in the Church (cf. Jas. 4:4). Be wary of ther activities. Everyday remember that you are at war with the devil because of your alignment with, and devotion to Jesus. We must ensure that all activities, ministries and ministers are well screened before allowing them in our churches (od 1 Jn. 4:1). Many so-called Christian literatures programmes, albums, drama, etc. have elements of demonic influences the when not detected and exposed on time, can lure the unsuspecting and susceptible church members away. There is the need to urgently, regularly and sharply rebuke/condemn manifestations of demonic influences amidst God’s people before they spread like inferno (Tit. 1:13). As children of God, let us give ourselves to sound doctrine to forestall demonic influence, lest we fall victim of our chief mischief-maker, the devil (1 P 5:8). Help yourself by boldly rebuking the devil and his agents now.

1. I receive the grace to resist the devil and his demons, in Jesus’ name
2. I will not depart from You, oh Lord, and not give attention to deceit from demons, in Jesus’ name.
