MEMORISE

[21]. because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
[22]. Professing to be wise, they became fools,
[23]. and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
[24]. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,
[25]. who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
[26]. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.

[29]. being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,
[30]. backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
EXPOSITION
Inventors create useful things for the first time, for instance some created devices like Thesaurus being commemorated today. We have heard of Thomas Edison, Archimedes, Benjamin Franklin, Tim Berners-Lee, etc., whose inventions are still with us today, even after their demise. They sought to change their world positively and had it done with the help of God. There is nothing you cannot achieve when you bow to the will of the Creator of the universe. However, overtime, there have been others who invented things to destabilise, corrupt and destroy the world more, like Manasseh, the evil king in our memory Scripture. Recently, we heard that some big nations are trying to invent sophisticated weapons of war, including nuclear weapons that are indeed destructive. Oh! Those things come from the heart! No wonder David said, Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me (Psa. 51:10). Why? Sin comes from a corrupt mind. Of course, For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Matt. 12:34).
Also, Jesus says, What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man” (Mk. 7:20-23). How far can the depraved man go without God and His Word? He can only fail in the end, in spite of the knowledge he claims to possess to invent things. This is evident in the rate of failure in our world today. Do not join the evil bandwagon (Exo. 23:2)!

1. Lord Jesus, I separate myself from every ungodly relationship as from today.
2. Oh Lord, I refuse to contaminate Your Church by my attitude, in Jesus’ name.
3. Pray for CAC Babalola Memorial International Miracle Camp, Ikeji Arakeji Osun State, the Camp Manager and the staff as led by the Spirit of God.
