TOPIC: YOU CAN DO EXPLOIT
MEMORISE : Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints In the light (Colossians 1:12).
READ : Colossians 1:9-12
[9]. For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
[10]. that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;
[11]. strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy;
[12]. giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.
EXPOSITION
It is common for people to doubt their ability to achieve great things or overcome difficult challenges. When faced with obstacles, we often focus on our own limitations and conclude that we are incapable. Even in ministry, many ministers attribute miracles and healings to their peers, instead of recognising their own potential. This mindset only holds us back, but God does not impose any limitations. Jesus told his disciples, If you can believe, all things are possible for him who believes (Mk. 9:23). You have God’s incredible power within you, and your power comes from God. When you trust in Him, He has already provided everything you need to accomplish great things for Him. One of the blessings of being saved in Christ Jesus is that you are spiritually qualified to do great things for God (cf. Judg. 6:14).
The Holy Spirit, God’s power, anointing, and the name of Jesus Christ with His blood are all within your reach. So, get up and start doing amazing things for God. You are qualified by His grace and your salvation, so don’t hold yourself back anymore. You are qualified by the inheritance that Jesus Christ has bought for you as a saint. It is you who will rise up and accomplish great things in your destiny today. Today, being World Non-governmental Organisation Day, Let’s go and achieve great things for God!
PRAYER POINTS
1. I know that can make it; I know I can stand; no matter what may come my way, my life is in Your hands.
2. God, let the inheritance I have in You begin to manifest in my life and endeavours.
3. Pray for CAC Ministers’ Wives’ Fellowship, our mother in the Lord, the leader and the members as led by the Spirit of God.
