MEMORISE: Redeeming the time. because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:16

BIBLE TEXT: Ecclesiastes 12:1
Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

MESSAGE:
Though the Bible was written with many examples to learn from, it is sad that many people are still not learning. For example, the Bible says in Proverbs 22:29:
“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”

As popular as this scripture is, many young people are still very lazy in their academics, doing chores, or taking responsibilities. The future will distinguish between those who used their youth wisely or foolishly.
There are many activities I did 40 years ago that I can never try now, but I am reaping the fruits from them today. My dear, you will not be young forever, and neither will you live forever; put in all efforts to harness your potentials now so that your future can be peaceful. The reason some old people are doing menial jobs today is because they relaxed in their youth. I encourage you to make the right choices now so that you will have no regrets in old age.

KEY POINT:
Make hay while the sun shines.

HYMN 6 – MY HOPE IS BUILT ON NOTHING LESS
1. My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus Christ, my righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.

CHORUS
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.

2. When darkness veils His lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.

3. His oath, His covenant, His blood,
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.

4. When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
In Him, my righteousness, alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.
