TOPIC: WHAT IS IN YOUR HOUSE? (I)

MEMORISE : And many who had believed came confessing and telling their deeds (Acts 19:18).

[18]. And many who had believed came confessing and telling their deeds.

[19]. Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted up the value of them, and it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver.

[20]. So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.

EXPOSITION

People should not keep things they don’t need at home. These unnecessary items can become sources of dirt and problems. Many people have awards plaques at home that attract trouble to them. Some clothes and styles are demonic and promote sin, evil, and worldliness. These are monitored by demons who use them to afflict families. That child who suddenly becomes wayward/godless could be as a result of demonic influence, owing to the item/materials you have in your house.

The items you have in your house can greatly impact what comes into your home. Satanic objects attract his minions and the attendant disasters. Be cautious! Parents who purchase revealing clothing for their children may be vulnerable to attacks from demons. The negative spirit associated with these things influence children’s behaviours based on what they wear. Why did the ark of the LORD bless Obed-Edom’s home? God’s Spirit behind the Ark is the source of God’s power that transforms situations. Remove any demonic material present in your home (cf. Acts 19:18). You will be surprised by the positive changes that follow. Remember, God loves you!

PRAYER POINTS

1. Father, thank You for opening my eyes to things that the devil can use to destroy me.

2. I renounce all satanic covenants that have clung to me through satanic paraphernalia.

3. Holy Spirit, cause those still using means in the ministry to see and understand the futility of it, and change their ways.
