MEMORISE

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love (Colossians 1:13).

READ:Luke 13:10-17

[10]. Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath.

[11]. And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up.

[12]. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.”

[13]. And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

[14]. But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, “There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day.”

[15]. The Lord then answered him and said, “Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it?

[16]. So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?”

[17]. And when He said these things, all His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him.

EXPOSITION

Spiritual knowledge of our right in the Lord Jesus Christ is the operational key to walking over all our situations. Some of us are still begging where we are supposed to operate as kings and queens. We weren’t redeemed with perishable things like silver and gold, but with the precious blood of Christ-the spotless Lamb of God. Wonderful!

The blood of Jesus saves and protects us from darkness. Satan and his minions can’t harass us anymore. Sickness cannot control our bodies, which are God’s temple. Claim what is yours in Jesus Christ and be strong. Good parents provide their children with nutritious meals. Jesus Christ compares our earthly parents to God. Read Matt. 7:7-12; Lk. 11:9-13. God is both good and great, as He is the One Who created us. The power of your enemies cannot hold you back. Do not view any situation as being greater than yourself. You are actually greater than all of them because you have been saved from the power of darkness through the blood of Jesus. When you dedicated your life to Jesus Christ, you were not abandoned to suffer from illness, or be controlled by Satan. He rescued you from sin, sickness, and sorrow. Break free from the chains of sin, sickness, and sorrow and enter into the kingdom of triumph over them. You are now a part of the kingdom of the Son of His love! Believe this wholeheartedly and witness His total deliverance in your life.

PRAYER POINTS

1. I get out of the family and ancestral darkness and enter into the realm of the Light, in Jesus’ name.

2. Christ’s power has set me free from my bonds and chains, in Jesus’ name.

3. Lord, please deliver all Your children who are still trapped in the darkness of sin and Satan.
