RIGHTEOUS JUDGE

ISA. 11:1-5
¹ There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
² The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.
³ His delight is in the fear of the Lord, And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;
⁴ But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.
⁵ Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the belt of His waist.

All over the world, there is no perfect judicial system. In certain instances, the court has turned to a of refuge for some selected individuals because of their political power and affiliations. Many judges of this world are easily influenced and become partial in handling cases. However, Jesus’ being the righteous judge will be impartial in all His judgment because He is incorruptible and righteous. You cannot bribe Him on the judgment day. Even now, your mere fervency in the service of God (while you still have those little sins) cannot be used to bribe Him.

POINT OF EMPHASIS: Jesus is the impartial judge.
PRAYER POINT: Dear Lord, help me to live rightly in preparation to meet the righteous judge.
