EXPOSITION

Mourning is one of the experience man will wish he never had in life. It comes with pains, anguish and sorrows. It denotes negativity. It comes with bitterness of heart, weeping and wailing. Man will do everything in his power not to experience mourning for once. May you be comforted in all mourning areas of your life.

Mary and Martha, the sisters of Lazarus, were in this mood for the death of their brother when Christ, the joy of the world, came visiting John 11:18ff, widow of Nain was mourning the death of her only child when Christ appeared Luke 7:11-15. The benefactors of Dorcas called Tabitha was in great mourning because of the death of their helper … The daughter of the ruler Mark 9:18-26, Luke 8:49-56 just died and the father was mourning as he approached Christ. All these showed that Christ has power over death and will raise the dead in your life, home and ministry into life, so that your joy will be full.

Mourning turns to joy whenever Christ visits/intervenes. His miracles signs and wonders in the life of believers turn mourning into joy. The appearance or emergence of Christ on every situation and in all situations brings joy to replace sorrow. He is compassionate; He cannot ignore your pains. May all you have lost as a result of any death in your life be regained by the power of God. Christ raises the dead because He is the resurrection and life. Our Lord is a worker of miracle, and miracle turn mourning to joy.

Time and nature do not stop Him from turning sorrow to joy, He understands all things and can do all things. Christ is merciful and tender-hearted. Therefore, present your case and he will attend to it and be glorified in it Join 11;4. Trust, believe and affirm His authority and supremacy over all situations.

As Christ healed the sick, raised the dead and turns their mourning into joy, He is interested also in healing your broken heart, will you also allow Him heal you spiritually?
